Mirco-needling is a treatment therapy designed to stimulate collagen production in the skin, thereby making the skin firmer. This is done by creating small channels in the skin with needles, and stimulating cells to produce additional collagen in response to the injury. Additionally, the channels created in the skin greatly improve the penetration of ointments/creams that are part of all skin care regiments — improving their efficacy.
